About Me

Ethan Mick - Entrepreneur and Eagle Scout
I’m a determined, dedicated and passionate man for good ideas. I love taking a concept or idea and creating a beautiful product from it. I aggressively go after my goals and I don’t let anyone tell me it “can’t be done.”
And because of this, I probably won’t ever be able to work a 9-5 job.
But I’m okay with that. I enjoy working with all sorts of people to create beautiful things. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I am going to Rochester Institute of Technology for a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, expected May 2014. My minor is in Entrepreneurship, and my GPA is 3.66.
I have been programming iPhone and iPad apps for over two years now. I have realized potential markets for good apps and created an app that met those needs. The apps I have built have been coded completely by me, with graphic help coming from some good friends.
For the summer of 2011, I was in Cupertino, CA, working at Apple Inc. I worked in a team environment to understand needs, design a product, and implement it. I discovered requirements for an universal iOS app, designed the app, and implemented the app. I listened to feedback from users and continued to update the app to suit their evolving needs.
I am a confident programmer who loves learning new technology. I know Objective-C, C++, C, Java, Python, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML, PHP, and CSS. I can do work on Windows, OS X, and Linux, although my favorite is OS X.
This year I’m focusing on taking my talent and creating a business to focus my energy and create beautiful products.

Hi,
I was just checking out your iPhone app in the App Store. Congrats, looks pretty good.
Happy with your sales so far?
I’ve been working with some app developers the last few months, and I’ve learned that there’s two aspects that you need to focus on to be really successful selling apps in iTunes. I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned if you’re interested. Just let me know and I’ll send you a quick overview.
Best of luck,
Ed Turner
Hi,
I’m Andrew from Brooklyn Packet. Brooklyn Packet is a San Francisco startup that makes iPhone games. We found your game and realized you’d be a perfect fit to join us. We’re one of those startups you never hear about it that’s killing it. We’re going to grow huge and become the market leader in iPhone games. We’ve got a group of A Players and that allows us to attract other A Players.
I’d love to tell you what we’re up to. Are you free for a phone call sometime this week?
Andrew
